About Us

We at KW Studios are a dedicated group of passionate sim racers, crafting immersive racing experiences for our community and automotive partners. As a part of the global KW Automotive group, a leader in performance suspension, we are uniquely positioned to provide the most realistic and immersive simulation possible.

We are working on "RaceRoom", a racing simulator for PC, available as a free download through Steam. Released in 2013, RaceRoom has been maintained through regular features and content releases ever since. RaceRoom uses its own rendering engine, originally developed for Race Pro, our 2009 title for XBOX 360 and is in need of a serious overhaul in order to remain relevant for the next decade.

Job Description

We need an exceptional Lead Programmer who will share our passion for racing and is ready to drive transformative changes in our technology stack. The team is eager to see these steps achieved, such as directX and threading upgrades. If you're a seasoned C++ developer, want a position with decisive power and have the responsibility to own up to that, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Technology Leader: Lead the charge in advancing our simracing technology, from rendering to physics, shaping the future of the RaceRoom franchise.
• Hands-on Expertise: Dive deep into coding while also guiding the team towards technical excellence, setting the standard for our projects.
• Remote but integrated: Thrive in a remote working environment where strong communication and collaboration are keys to unlocking the full potential of our international team.
• Self-Driven: Take ownership of your work, managing your tasks efficiently and motivating yourself to achieve greatness.

Desired Skills

• Proficiency in C++ programming (minimum 4 years)
• Experience shipping titles in the gaming industry
• Knowledge of CPU and GPU profiling
• Familiarity with multi-threading
